Surviving landmarks
Raffles Hotel, the Fullerton Building (originally the General Post Office), and the black-and-white bungalows scattered through the Central region are among the most visible remnants of colonial-era Singapore.

The old Supreme Court and City Hall — now the National Gallery Singapore — anchor a cluster of colonial civic buildings around the Padang, most still standing and most still in active use rather than preserved as museum pieces alone.
